Ciarra Spruill, LCSW, LISWCP
Licensed Psychotherapist and Founder of Emerge Therapy and Consulting
The heart of my practice is creating a space where people feel seen, understood, and supported. Through a psychodynamic lens, I help clients uncover the patterns that influence their relationships, identity, and well‑being.by helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and reconnect with their authentic selves. My work focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, with a specialty in psychodynamic therapy and trauma‑informed care.
For many people, the biggest challenges aren’t external circumstances, they’re the internal narratives, beliefs, and emotional wounds that shape how we see ourselves and respond to stress. My role is to help you understand those patterns with compassion, curiosity, and clinical expertise so you can build healthier coping skills and experience emotional freedom.
My Therapeutic Approach:
I use a psychodynamic, insight‑oriented approach to help clients uncover the root causes of emotional distress, including childhood trauma and attachment wounds, cognitive distortions and limiting beliefs, emotional dysregulation, barriers to healthy identity development, relationship and communication patterns.
Together, we explore the parts of you that need attention, healing, and integration without judgment and at a pace that feels safe.
A Bit About Me:
Outside the therapy room, I love reading (any genre), meditating, running, creating memories with my son or practicing ice skating moves with the enthusiasm of someone who knows she’s not going to the Olympics but is having the time of her life anyway! I believe that life is a continuous process of shedding what no longer serves us and emerging into who we are meant to be, and I’m honored to support you on that journey.
Licensure:
